Mixed a new set for all of you now that my turntables are no longer on the FLOOR! Finally got a DJ booth setup which makes mixing so much easier. Not sure how I feel about this set as a workout set though, it is definitely a driving bass line set. I guess you will need to be the judge.

I had this set mixed almost right after my last one but I couldnt upload it because if bandwidth reasons. This set has the same similar feel as the last one with lots of energy ;) Expect more of this type of stuff from me.

I recorded something different than what I usually play, this is a great set for the gym as I have recently found out :) It has some classic hip hop samples that you will love. Definitely a pleaser. Enjoy!

Since I haven't been doing a lot of mixing I started to listen to my older sets. I really do miss that sound I had. I think in the process of looking for a grungy sound I lost some of that magic I had in my earlier sets. SO in the future I'm going to try to create a fusion of what I play now with some of those old elements on my previous sets. Hopefully this will be promising. Also I'm growing tired of my site layout. Hopefully I will get some new pictures and a new layout that is more "me" and less of a "template" feel.

I've been thinking about changing my DJ name for some time now. I had created the name Transid when I was playing a lot of Acid Trance, but as the industry changes I needed a name that was less genre oriented. With the help of my girlfriend the name that came up was Edde Dre. I will still have all of my old content on my site don't worry and djtransid.com will still be active. Once I get some new content I'll be updating the site and releasing a new set :)

Hello everyone, well it's been a long time since I've even touch turntables. It's sad I know I have been busy but there is some light at the end of the tunnel. I have officially moved to Charlotte North Carolina, I'm still trying to settle in my new place. I need to still setup my PC and turntables. Most my DJ gear is still in boxes! Once that’s unpacked I'll keep you all posted and hopefully get a set recorded.

This is heavily influenced from Daft Punk, Boys Noize and Justice. Mixing need to be a lot better but I have a broken arm and its been a long time since I posted a mix. But the tracks are great, I can't wait to see Boys Noize and Justice next week.

So, the story goes like this. Went snowboarding and broke my arm, to make it even worse it’s a full arm cast and my right arm. So it makes mixing pretty tough, esp pitch bending. But today I recorded a mix it’s definitely nowhere near the best I’ve done but at least it’s something. I'll post it later on today.

Hello Everyone,
It’s been ages since I've updated my site. Probably over 6 months that’s for sure. I've recorded a few mixes that I haven’t posted online. I will post them as soon as possible.

In other news I quit my job that was consuming my life. I no longer work for BlackBerry AMEN! The 10hr work days were just too much. I even smashed up my Jetta in the process :( so I know work a lot closer to home here in Toronto. As for gigs that are coming up I have nothing. Since my absences in the nightlife here I haven’t done any promoting.... I'll in the meantime continue mixing and posting sets online.

Well it’s been a few weeks and I haven’t had a chance to do a new set, I owe it to you all to give a reason. I recently started a new job and it’s been consuming my entire life. 5am - 8pm, by the time I'm home I have little time to even eat dinner. So as of right now I'm going to need to temp move the weekly show to monthly.

It's been a few weeks since I've had a chance to record a mix. Life has been busy and unpredictable, I finally had a chance to sit down (technically stand up) and record a mix. It’s a collection of old tracks again. Very driving set, There isn’t really a low point in here at all, I hope you all enjoy the set!

This is a flash back set. I always play new songs and I never play the songs again. So I've decided to play some of my older tunes here. I have no TL since I was just going with it. It turned out really well. I wish it could of been longer but its definately got a nice flow through it. Its not as electro as my other sets or as grimy but I like it :p Plus this saves me some money for a week LoL

I absolutely love this set. It’s very techy and break beatish. I even dropped Mr. Oizo Flat Beat. That’s right released in 1999 :) I hope you all enjoy the set and thanks for tuning in.
